Summary:
This position is designed to assist in the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources Department to ensure the accuracy and confidentiality of the personnel functions for the district and align with the Strategic Plan to strengthen and improve the workforce in the Raymond School District.
QUALIFICATIONS (SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/TRAINING REQUIRED):
High School Diploma or equivalent; Associates degree or higher preferred.
Two years' work experience in the field of human resources highly desirable Strong experience with Microsoft Office Suite Excel/Word to develop and maintain spreadsheets Strong experience in database program applications (MUNIS) preferred Knowledge of payroll processing procedures or willingness to learn Ability to maintain the highest levels of confidentiality in all situations.
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and oral/written communication skills Ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of individuals Ability to work independently and problem solve Maintain professional and positive demeanor in all contact with district staff and external community ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Assist in the creation and maintain all advertisements of new or open positions with a special emphasis on local outlets.
Guide and monitor the induction of new employees by setting appointments for tours, training and distributing materials.
Systematically follow up on new employees to obtain feedback and to provide further information or resources as needed.
Enter and maintain employee information in the Human Resources (MUNIS) database; ensure data integrity.
Collaborate with the Director of Human Resources to maintain personnel practices as they relate to District policy and Collective Bargaining Agreements.
Maintain and continually improve, based on feedback and consultation with professionals, new hire induction documents and written procedures.
Assist in maintaining and reporting on employee absences through the Frontline technology platform.
Assists in the auditing of monthly insurance bills for changes to ensure accuracy Submission and tracking of employee/contractor/volunteer background checks.
Assists in generation of insurance open enrollment packets and sessions with employees.
Attends meetings of the District's Joint Loss Management Committee (JLMC) and compiles reports for employee injuries Assist in generating annual employee contracts.
Assist in the processing of staff evaluations and recertification paperwork.
Assist in the tracking of employee status changes, workers compensation etc.
Process and compile files for terminated employees.
Assist in the preparation of state and federal surveys and reporting.

Perform routine clerical duties, word processing, answering the telephone, greeting visitors, responding to vacancy inquiries.
